Sketches.
Notebook.
Before creating my notebook design, I already knew what kind of design I wanted. Since the FACEiT London 2018 Major had just ended, and the CS:GO team Astralis were the winners, I knew that I wanted it to be an Astralis design. Since the front side has to have a cut-out portion, I cut out the star in the middle of the ASTR logo so that I would have both engraving and cutting on the front page. The back page was pretty simple. All I did was write out "FACEiT Major Champions". This was because the back page only needed engraving, so I decided to go with that. After I cut out the pieces, I had to cut the paper and the cord that winds through the top and keeps the pages in place. At the end, This is what it looked like, and I have to say that I'm actually quite happy with how it turned out

Water Bottle.
Since I was pretty fast on the design for my notebook, I got quick to work on my water bottle design. I also had this planned before I did it. The only thing that I hadn't decided was the font, because I needed a font that fully expressed "yeet." to its full potential. Right after I had the measurements below the maximum amount, I rotated it so that the word would be written down the bottle, as opposed to around the bottle. Once I got the UCP and rotary jig set up, I engraved my water bottle. Once it was done, I took it out and marveled over my brilliance. Seriously, you can't tell me that you have a better water bottle than me. And if you do think that, you're wrong. Clearly my finished masterpiece is levels on top of levels of IQ higher than any other human could create.

3D-Laser Print.
I think by this point you have noticed that I love a game called CS:GO, which is also an esport. Just like any other sport, there are many teams. This box comprises of 6 CS:GO teams that I am a fan of. When I made this, I used a website that would create a wire frame design of the dimensions that I entered in. This would be a box wire frame that I could import into Illustrator and edit off of. The teams that are on the box are "Cloud9", "mibr", "NIP", "SpaceSoldiers", "EnVyUs", and "NaVi". Once I had all of the logos in their correct place on the box frame, I had to take the two largest pieces and move them to a new Illustrator file since the entire frame was too big to use one piece of matboard. Once all of the pieces were engraved and cut out, I had to fit the grooves in with each other to create the 3D version, and this is what it turned out as. I think it wouldn't hurt to mention that the first try with this didn't work, as the large pieces got resized somehow and didn't fit. But, that was fixed and I think this version looks better than what I was originally going to do.

Using the laser.
woah. here I am using the laser. ooooooooooo.
Summary.
In summary, I learned that the feeling of seeing your own creations on screen and then actually making them real is amazing. I gained new knowledge of things that I never would have gained, had it not been for IDEA. All 3 of these projects were fun to make and create in illustrator. Although it was mostly centered around CS:GO. I did try to venture out a slight bit, and this was probably one of the most hard but fun rotations that I have been a part of so far.
